FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG - STAYING ON THEIR FEET

This week's dog blog might never had happened, had things turned out differently. I could have done more damage to myself than I did. On Sunday when I was trying to get a better angle for a more interesting photo, my shoes slipped on the ground and I hit my back against this rock. The thread on the shoes of my shoes had worn away and I keep on wearing them.

I am not sure what the dogs made of screaming out, but I would not like to leave them tied up where they were.

Sasha not only is continuing to enjoy her freedom, but continues to see, despite her experiences, the possibilities for further exploits.

The photo collection, almost randomly assembled provides it own commentary on another week, and now with different shoes I am more conscious of my footing. It is not as if the pain just goes away. I still have the bruise in the middle of my back. But since everything seemed to be working, I concluded there was no central nervous system damage, so I hope I recover, wiser for the experience.

Sometimes we stop to take stock . . .

. . . but at other times it is homeward bound:

Sasha does not look anything like her shadow, except the tongue might be a giveaway.

Dexter, like all dogs, has many expressions:

Every so often we get a wake up call, and after awhile some of us at least go immediately back to sleep.

We hope again this week to join the Friday Ark.

Thanks Abbey.

I think I have now fully recovered.

As for the collage, it is very simple. The program does it all. I use Picasa for storing and selecting my photos.

You will see the screen layout. The photos are stored on the bottom left space with the hold button, and the collage is activated by the second button from the right. The photos are then formated.
