In recent weeks the dog blog has been written around a photo challenge. The light in their eyes is probably just bad photography and the onset of more wintry gloominess. Sasha and Dexter still enjoy getting out, and Sasha in particular enjoys her time running free.
Here is our friend Pebbles, who barks at us most days from his veranda. So one day this week, I took the dogs closer and Pebbles came down to the fence. I did not want to get closer to avoid any altercation with Dexter.
Dexter sometimes catches the light in his eyes:
Dexter can take a serious view of things:
But a sunny day helps everyone's dispositions:
Dexter at this moment seems pleased to be in the sunlight:
But the days are getting shorter and as the sun goes down earlier, gloomier:
Yet for the dogs, if we go out late some days, it is still good fun:
Sasha has the look of anticipation - probably of running up the embankment:
Sasha and Dexter will again line up to join Chelsea and all the others at Friday Ark.

Did you notice the Ark didnt get launched this week..I smiled that you and I posted anyway... the hounds are looking fit and healthy
I believe Friday Ark was launched, except the entry form was down. Chelsea and her vegemite are there.
I am told that Sasha and Dexter are overfed.
Lol... who told you that...well Im only looking at photos but surely if they are its not from lack of exercise...
Actually, I do not think it is my fault entirely, although feeding them has become one of my duties. We just have to be careful. Sasha is getting a lot more exercise now I let her off. On the other hand, Dexter is not getting enough. I should spend more time with him throwing a ball or kong toy.
